Here is skyrim, one of my favourite games. I enjoyed working on this game very much because i understood the game and the feel the game has on the audience. This really helped me when collecting the sounds because i knew exactly what i wanted and how to get them. Even though i knew what i was doing this was a challenging clip to work on because some sounds were very had to think of such as wings flapping and a dragons roar, in order to create these sounds i had to be very creative when i was recording, but at the end it payed off.
First i recorded the vocals for a dragon, i myself voiced the first dragon and i believe the clarity and expression of the voice was on point. afterwards in the editing process i edited the sound to make it sound more fierce, angry and make the voice sound purely evil. to do this i used a pitch shifter filter to distort the pitch of my voice into a deeper harsh sound and also added a reverb to make the voice sound powerful and loud.
I also edited the sound of the other dragon too in a similar way but kept a little difference in the sound so you can tell the individual difference in voice between both of the dragons.
I also added reverb and pitch shifters to the roar of the dragon (which i created by getting a group of people to roar loud) and also the flapping of the wings (which i got by flapping a duvet).
The music i got from the logic loops which i tweaked for my own effect.
For the sound of the dragons ice breath i had trouble getting a right sound, at the end i merged two sounds together which did not sound good by it self but together it sounded great, the first sound was a blow dryer and the second sound was from an aerosol spray being lit of fire.
